As an Audit Senior at BiggsKofford, you’ll work directly with small business owners and executive leadership, building long-lasting relationships and consulting on a variety of business matters beyond traditional audit compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit, review, or compilation procedures for clients.
• Conduct effective risk and internal control assessments and audit planning.
• Oversee all engagement phases, including planning, fieldwork, financial statement and report preparation, and delivery.
• Review staff work, prepare high-risk audit sections, and draft financial statements.
• Provide financial and business analysis post-fieldwork to improve client controls and procedures.
• Collect and analyze client information to solve problems and meet deadlines.
• Train and delegate tasks to staff based on availability and experience.
• Conduct fieldwork at client locations and for remote clients.
• Meet assigned deadlines or budgets and demonstrate proactive communication regarding such.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 4+ years of accounting firm audit experience.
• CPA license or actively in process.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft programs.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented approach.
