Experienced Audio Visual (A/V) Volunteer Opportunity

Liberia Economic Development Initiative (LEDI) is a US-based, 501 (c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit organization with an international focus providing life-changing literacy, economic development, and humanitarian programs and interventions to disadvantaged people in Liberia, West Africa. Since 2007, LEDI has provided over 750 educational scholarships and empowered countless individuals and communities through economic development and humanitarian relief.

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Audio Visual Volunteer with a background in event production to join our team for an upcoming 11th anniversary nonprofit gala event in the Atlanta area on October 24, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Set up, manage, and if possible donate audio-visual equipment for the event.
• Collaborate with event organizers to ensure all technical needs are met.
• Troubleshoot any audio-visual issues during the event.
• Work alongside other volunteers to create a seamless experience for attendees.

Requirements

• Proven experience in audio-visual production and event support.
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical proficiency.
• Passion for event production and creating engaging experiences.
• Must be available for pre-event meetings via Zoom and in person on the day of the event.
