Experienced Asphalt Roller Operator
About the role
We're seeking an Experienced Asphalt Roller Operator for the upcoming 2026 season. This position involves operating various types of paving equipment, including asphalt rollers.
Responsibilities
- Operate several types of paving equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Work on commercial and industrial sites throughout the Midwest.
- Ensure compliance with safety and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
- Minimum of three to five years of previous work experience in asphalt rolling operation.
- A CDL is desired but not necessary.
- A High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
- Able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions and dirty/dusty environments.
- Member of the appropriate trade union or willing to become a union member.
Qualifications
- Highly skilled in asphalt rolling operations.
- Experience in working on diverse construction sites.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Skills
- Proficient in operating various types of paving equipment.
- Ability to work in challenging environmental conditions.
- Good communication skills for working with team members and clients.
