Experienced Aluminum Welder/Fabricator

About the role

Responsible for welding and fabricating aluminum components in a manufacturing environment. Duties include designing, assembling, and inspecting parts to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Welding and cutting aluminum using various techniques and equipment
• Fabricating complex metal structures according to blueprints and specifications
• Inspecting work for accuracy and adherence to safety protocols
• Collaborating with team members to resolve technical issues and improve processes

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in aluminum welding and fabrication
• Proficiency in oxy-acetylene welding, plasma arc cutting, and MIG/TIG welding
• Strong understanding of metallurgy and material properties
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Skills

• Knowledge of welding codes and regulations
• Experience with CAD/CAM software
• Basic computer literacy
