About the role
Responsible for welding and fabricating aluminum components in a manufacturing environment. Duties include designing, assembling, and inspecting parts to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Welding and cutting aluminum using various techniques and equipment
- Fabricating complex metal structures according to blueprints and specifications
- Inspecting work for accuracy and adherence to safety protocols
- Collaborating with team members to resolve technical issues and improve processes
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in aluminum welding and fabrication
- Proficiency in oxy-acetylene welding, plasma arc cutting, and MIG/TIG welding
- Strong understanding of metallurgy and material properties
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Skills
- Knowledge of welding codes and regulations
- Experience with CAD/CAM software
- Basic computer literacy
