Responsibilities
- Create and implement recruiting strategies, generate leads, and grow referral network.
- Make significant outbound calls and contacts to reach passive candidate pools of Experienced Financial Advisors.
- Utilize contact management system to persistently follow up with prospective candidates.
- Establish relationships with prospective advisors and educate them on the Edward Jones platform, business model, and culture.
- Review resumes, conduct behavior-based interviews, determine which candidates advance in the process by assessing candidate's talent, effort, and ability to successfully continue to build their practice at Edward Jones.
- Work with the candidate to analyze their book of business and keep them informed of the hiring process and timeline.
- Engage candidates throughout the recruitment and selection process (in partnership with Practice Acquisition Consultants) so they are fully educated on what they can expect being an FA at Edward Jones.
- Travel Expectations - This position will travel approximately 10-20% of the time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of experience sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing candidates in financial services, including:
- Proven ability to leverage a strong network of successful financial advisors
- Skilled in evaluating candidates from firms with differing structures, philosophies, training, and compensation models
- Resilient, proactive mindset with comfort initiating calls and engaging with diverse candidate profiles.

- Experience in financial services industry
- Ability to understand and articulate the benefits of being a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
