Experienced Accountant
About the role
MCI is seeking an Experienced Accountant to manage financial operations, reporting, and compliance for our BPO business. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting strategic financial decisions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Aid with internal and external audits.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Collaborate with leadership on financial planning and strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification.
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a BPO or service-based industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of IFRS or GAAP standards.

Pay
Starting compensation is based on experience and is competitive within the industry. Details will be provided during the interview process.
Schedule
The role operates in a professional office environment. The employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. Occasional movement and lifting up to 40 pounds may be required.
