Position Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment for hospital staff, patients, and visitors.
Monitor facility access points and conduct interior/exterior patrols.
Respond appropriately to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations.
Assist with de-escalation support when needed.
Complete detailed incident reports and documentation.
Maintain a professional and visible security presence throughout the facility.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of prior security or law enforcement experience REQUIRED
  Security experience MUST be clearly listed on your resume
  Candidates with less than 1 year of experience will not be considered
  Active NYS Security Guard License required
  Must provide proof of education (High School Diploma, GED, transcripts, or degree)
  Must be comfortable working in a hospital environment that includes a psychiatric/behavioral health unit
  Must be available to work evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  Strong communication skills and professional demeanor required
