Position Responsibilities
Maintain a safe and secure environment for hospital staff, patients, and visitors.
Monitor facility access points and conduct interior/exterior patrols.
Respond appropriately to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations.
Assist with de-escalation support when needed.
Complete detailed incident reports and documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of prior security or law enforcement experience.
- CLEARLY listed on your resume.
- Active NYS Security Guard License required.
- Must provide proof of education (High School Diploma, GED, transcripts, or degree).
- Must be comfortable working in a hospital environment that includes a psychiatric/behavioral health unit.
- Must be available to work evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor required.
Qualifications
Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
