This position works under the direction of the Office of Experience and entails collaborating with clinical leaders to develop strategies around patient needs, networking with ECU Health team members, and meeting patients where they are to provide necessary support for a life-changing patient experience.

Experience Coordinators assist with the visitor screening and management process, facilitate virtual connections using technology, visit patient rooms, explain patient and visitor guides, and assist patients with meal ordering as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Connect with patients, families, and care teams to listen, problem solve, and personalize experiences.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders to develop strategies around patient needs.
  • Network with ECU Health team members to enhance patient support.
  • Assist with visitor screening and management processes.
  • Facilitate virtual connections using technology and other resources.
  • Visit patient rooms to explain guides and assist with meal ordering.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree or higher (required).
  • 2 years of experience in customer service or hospitality (required).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Schedule

Full-time position, 1st shift (08:00–16:30), primarily Monday through Friday with rotating weekends.
