Experience Construction Laboratory Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking an Experienced Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, AZ. This is a full-time opportunity for those interested in a hands-on role testing construction materials and supporting infrastructure development.

Compensation & Benefits

• $24-30/hour (depending on experience)
• Full-time, 40 hours/week (schedule may vary)

What You'll Be Doing

• Receive and test construction materials such as soils, aggregates, and concrete
• Perform laboratory testing including:
• Moisture Content
• Sieve Analysis
• Atterberg Limits
• Proctor Compaction
• Consolidation
• Direct Shear
• Compressive Strength
• Record accurate data and report findings to the Laboratory Manager
• Maintain lab equipment and workspace according to safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Willingness to follow procedures and contribute to team success

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a similar lab or materials testing role
• ACI or WAQTC certifications
• Coursework or degree in civil engineering, construction management, or geology
