Expeditor or Logistics Coordinator or Materials Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Maintains the timely flow and shipment of materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Oversees coordination with vendors, department heads, and shippers through various communication methods (mail, email, phone, in-person).
• Works with transportation providers to prevent delays and manage in-transit issues.
• Safeguards smooth distribution of goods upon arrival to ensure schedule adherence.
• Maintains order status by contacting department heads, vendors, and shippers to ensure merchandise is forwarded on specified shipping dates.
• Verifies shipment of goods on specified dates by contacting vendors via mail, email, phone, or visits.
• Communicates with transportation companies to avoid delays in transit and arranges for distribution of materials upon arrival if necessary.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in supply chain and logistics management.
• Strong vendor and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to track and verify orders effectively.
• Problem-solving and delay management capabilities.
