Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary communication link between the Cheyenne Club culinary team and front-of-house service staff — ensuring accurate, timely, and beautifully presented food reaches every guest.
- Coordinate the flow of orders from the kitchen to the dining room — maintaining efficiency, organization, and service momentum across all meal periods.
- Review every plate for accuracy, presentation, and completeness before it leaves the kitchen — ensuring strict adherence to Cheyenne Club culinary standards and guest expectations.
- Communicate guest requests, dietary restrictions, allergies, and special instructions clearly and promptly between the front-of-house service team and culinary staff.
- Prioritize and organize food tickets to support smooth, high-volume service and minimize guest wait times.
- Maintain expert knowledge of Cheyenne Club menu offerings, ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials to support accurate communication across all teams.
- Support restaurant operations by assisting with food running when necessary — ensuring seamless coordination between all departments during peak service periods.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the Cheyenne Club at Brush Creek Ranch.
Requirements
Prior restaurant expeditor, food runner, or kitchen expo experience preferred — not required; we will train the right candidate with sharp attention to detail and a genuine passion for hospitality.
A strong commitment to exceptional guest service and ensuring every dish is delivered accurately, efficiently, and beautifully at a luxury ranch fine dining destination.
Excellent communication skills — with the ability to coordinate clearly and calmly between multiple teams in a fast-paced, high-volume luxury ranch restaurant environment.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail — particularly regarding food presentation, order accuracy, and service timing.
The ability to remain calm, focused, and positive during high-volume service periods — you are the steady center of a busy kitchen pass.
Working knowledge of restaurant operations, food service standards, and basic food safety practices.
A team-oriented mindset and genuine willingness to support both front-of-house and culinary teams — you take pride in the shared success of every service.
Physical ability to stand and move at a fast pace for extended periods throughout each shift in an active ranch restaurant environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Passing background check and drug screening.
