About the role

The expeditor is the link between our kitchen and the customer. Expeditors ensure orders are prepared in a timely manner, meet Nando’s standards, and reach the right customer. They also prepare and package take-out orders and serve as the final interaction with this important customer base. Expeditors must be organized, efficient, professional, polite, and reliable, working quickly while remaining warm and gracious.

Responsibilities

• Take direction and work effectively in a team environment
• Work calmly and effectively under pressure
• Maintain commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
• Follow safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
• Communicate professionally in English

Requirements

• Ability to independently lift up to 15 lbs for extended periods
• Stand, walk, and climb stairs with food items and dishes throughout your shift
• Walk and/or stand for 8–10 hours per day
• Hand-eye coordination for reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting overhead
• Ability to climb stairs in restaurants with multiple levels
