Seventh Dimension LLC is seeking a Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic with a Security Clearance to join their team in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and perform maintenance on heavy equipment including trucks, excavators, cranes, and other machinery.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical components.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and other team members regarding equipment status and repair needs.
- Document all repairs and maintenance activities for record-keeping purposes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
- Security Clearance.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines and heavy machinery.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of relevant vocational training or certification in heavy equipment mechanics.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
Skills
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
