About the role

The Expanded Learning Program Instructor at Glenview Elementary will provide academic support and enrichment activities to students during after-school hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support and enrichment activities to students.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and parents to enhance student learning experiences.
• Implement lesson plans and activities aligned with the curriculum.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid California Driver’s License.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Experience working with children preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two references must be provided on your application.
• Proof of HS Graduation (Equivalent to the completion of twelfth grade).
• Current Resume.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Patience and empathy towards students.

Pay

$21.48 - $26.14 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Part-time, 10 months per year, 5 days per week, Shift Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 2:00 p.m. - 4:45 p.m., Wednesday 1:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
