About the role

The Expanded Learning Program Instructor at Bryant Ranch Elementary will provide academic support and enrichment activities to students during after-school hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to students in reading, math, and other subjects.
• Instruct students in enrichment activities such as art, science, and technology.
• Mentor students and assist with their social and emotional development.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to enhance student learning experiences.
• Adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid California Driver's License.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience working with children and adolescents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Pass a background check and DOJ/FBI LiveScan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Teaching credential or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience in education or related field.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of child development and learning theories.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

$21.48 - $26.14 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Shift Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 2:15 p.m. - 5:15 p.m., Wednesday - 1:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
