About the role
Provides support to teachers and students in a school setting.
Responsibilities
- Supports students in academic and social-emotional development.
- Assists teachers with lesson planning and classroom management.
- Participates in professional development activities to enhance skills.
Requirements
- Experience working with school age students.
- Graduation from high school or GED Certificate or CHSPE Certificate.
- Completion of forty-eight (48) units of higher education study or AA degree.
- Successfully passed the Modesto City Schools' Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Assessment Exam.
- NCLB Compliance: Applicants must submit an AA degree or higher, transcripts showing at least 48 units OR a certificate indicating meeting NCLB requirements.
