Expanded Learning Assistant - Folsom Locations
About the role
This position supports and extends student learning beyond the school day at Folsom Cordova Unified School District (FCUSD) locations including Carl H. Sundahl Elementary, Empire Oaks Elementary, Oak Chan Elementary, and Theodore Judah Elementary.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a mentor and role model for students.
- Supports students in academic, enrichment, and recreational activities.
- Engages students in active and meaningful learning experiences.
- Performs routine clerical tasks as directed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Training and experience demonstrating knowledge and abilities related to the position.
- Pass the District Instructional Assistant Proficiency Exam.
- Pass CPR/First Aid certification.
Qualifications
- Ability to promote educational excellence for all students.
- Experience supervising students during non-school hours.
- Knowledge of integrating learning support through various activities.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy.

Pay
$20.00 to $24.09 per hour.
Schedule
Part-time, 3.5 hours per day, 5 days a week, from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
