About the role
We are seeking a qualified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) for Saturday-only shifts at multiple Philadelphia locations.
Responsibilities
- Chairside dentistry
- Taking digital X-rays
- Impressions and model pouring
- Infection control
- Placing fillings and sealants
- Providing prophylaxis and fluoride treatments
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program
- X-ray certification
- EFDA license
- CPR certification
Skills
- Proficiency in digital diagnostics
- Adaptability to dentist needs
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong communication skills for diverse populations
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
