Responsibilities

• Perform EFDA‑certified restorative procedures, sealant applications, crown placements, and four‑handed pediatric chairside assisting.
• Take high‑quality digital dental X‑rays (RHS) while keeping children comfortable.
• Assist providers during specialized pediatric workflows, including nitrous oxide (N₂O) and sedation cases.
• Prepare, sanitize, and turn over treatment suites, adhering to CDC, OSHA, and ADA safety standards.
• Create a fun, anxiety‑free atmosphere with high energy, laughter, and “tiny high‑fives” for patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of dental assisting experience (pediatric experience preferred).
• Valid EFDA and Radiology Health & Safety (RHS) certifications.
• Active BLS/CPR certification (annual recertification fees covered by the practice).
• Familiarity with Open Dental software is a plus.
• Positive attitude, growth mindset, collaborative spirit, and genuine love for children’s dental visits.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen (position is safety‑sensitive).
