At Evansville Dental Partners, we make it our mission to give our patients reasons to smile every day. We are now seeking a talented EFDA to join our passionate team and help us maintain our commitment to quality dental care.

Responsibilities

• Perform expanded clinical duties allowed by state regulations, such as placing restorations, polishing, applying sealants and fluoride, taking impressions, coronal polishing, and packing/retrieving cord.
• Aid the dentist during a full range of restorative, prosthodontic, and surgical procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for each patient and ensure efficient room turnover.
• Take high-quality digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and impressions/scans (traditional or digital).
• Fabricate temporary crowns, bridges, and provisional restorations while checking bite, margins and contacts.
• Perform caries susceptibility testing.
• Mix and prepare dental materials (cements, bonding agents, composites, impression materials).

Qualifications

• Required: IN X-Ray License required.
• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Certification or willing to obtain upon hire.
• Maintain a budget, dental equipment knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with dental repair companies (preferred).
