Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Job Duties

• Routine chairside duties including preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care.
• Placement and finishing of permanent dental fillings.
• Application of fluoride varnishes and desensitizing agents.
• Provision of oral hygiene instructions.
• No orthodontics or crown & bridge required.
• Administrative duties, including training in these areas.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience and certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers.
• Active Ohio Dental Radiographer License REQUIRED.
• Active Ohio Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary license are REQUIRED.
