About the role
Support dental providers in delivering high-quality, equitable care.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced clinical functions, including patient record management, X-ray procedures, periodontal charting, and instrument setup.
- Aid in preventive and restorative dental treatments, such as polishing, fluoride applications, and sealants.
- Provide oral hygiene education and support infection control protocols, sterilizing instruments and maintaining sterile environments.
- Support orthodontic procedures like records collection, retainer fabrication, and bracket placement/removal.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Oregon EFDA certification
- BLS certification within 90 days
- Bilingual skills preferred
- Demonstrate professionalism, manual dexterity, and knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and infection control techniques
