In this hybrid role, you will work across a diverse, high-growth client portfolio-including nonprofits, employee benefit plans, and private companies in construction, real estate, and manufacturing-while building your path toward CPA licensure and firm leadership.What You'll DoAudit Execution & Fieldwork: Plan and execute financial statement and compliance audits, performing rigorous substantive and control testing across balance sheet and income statement accounts.Specialized Industry Exposure: Drive specialized audits for Not-for-Profit (NFP) organizations, Employee Benefit Plans (EBPs), and private enterprises in real estate, construction, and manufacturing.Documentation & Reporting: Prepare audit workpapers, draft financial statement disclosures, and assist in compiling management letters and findings for client leadership.Team Collaboration & Mentorship: Coordinate with engagement managers, supervise junior staff, review working papers, and provide real-time coaching.Technical Excellence: Stay current with US GAAP, AICPA standards, and industry-specific regulations to ensure audit quality and continuous process improvement.What We're Looking ForCredentials: Active CPA license or active progress toward CPA licensure required.Experience: 2-5+ years of external public accounting audit experience, with hands-on exposure to NFP, EBP, or private company audits (construction, real estate, or manufacturing industries preferred).Technical Expertise: Solid working knowledge of US GAAP and AICPA audit standards.Software Skills: Proficiency with standard audit software (e.g., Engagement, CaseWare) and Microsoft Excel.Core Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and professional communication abilities tailored for client-facing engagements.
