About the role
Supports the mission of The New York Botanical Garden through various roles and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the conservation and preservation of botanical collections.
- Engage in educational programs and public outreach activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance visitor experiences.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in botany, horticulture, biology, or a related field.
- Experience in botanical collections management or similar field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of botanical taxonomy and identification.
- Experience with database management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Attention to detail.

Pay
Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually.
