About the role
Southeastern Museums Conference seeks a dynamic individual to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing and nonprofit management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote Southeastern Museums Conference events and initiatives.
- Manage social media accounts, including content creation and engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
- Assist in event planning and execution, including coordination with vendors and volunteers.
- Research and analyze market trends to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in marketing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a nonprofit setting preferred.
- Knowledge of fundraising and donor relations.
- Event planning and coordination experience.
Skills
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Google Analytics and SEO best practices.
- Content creation and editing.
- Project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello).

Pay
Salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually.
Schedule
