Exercise Physiologist-PRN

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, B.S. in Exercise Physiology, Health Science, Kinesiology or Sports Medicine
• BLS Certified
• ACLS Certification (Completion required within the first 6 months)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented
• EKG Interpretation Skills (Completion of EKG Interpretation training through OSF required within the first 6 months)
• PREFERRED: M.S. in Exercise Physiology or Health Science
• PREFERRED: 1 year experience as an Exercise Physiologist in a Cardiac or Pulmonary Rehab setting

Requirements

• Experience with cardiac and pulmonary patient management

Skills

• Interprets the patient's exercise program data
• Directs patient's activity/exercise by ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the patient's clinical status
• Maintains on-going communication with the cardiac rehab team members
• Recommends exercise/activity progression

Pay

Expected pay for this position is $23.58 - $27.75/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
