Pay

Compensation Salary Range: $21.00 - $22.76 per hour. The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities

The exercise monitor is responsible for accurately and effectively monitoring the Wellness & Fitness Center in order to ensure a safe, supervised environment for members.

• Answering incoming calls
• Making outbound calls
• Assisting with direct membership inquiries/sales
• Scheduling members for ancillary services
• Collaborating with other Wellness & Fitness Center staff to provide a best-in-class, member‑centric experience that strengthens member relationships and builds member retention

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) – Required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – Required
• Three (3) months of customer service experience – Required
• Basic computer skills – Preferred
• Six (6) months customer service experience in health club, retail hospitality, or other service industry – Preferred
