Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Executive Vice President of Finance to join their team. REF #52832

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all finance and accounting functions, including financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with executive leadership and governing stakeholders to develop financial strategies that support organizational growth and long-term sustainability.
• Oversee audits, financial reporting processes, investment oversight, internal controls, and risk management initiatives.
• Lead financial systems enhancements, process improvements, and infrastructure projects to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
• Manage and develop finance teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience.
• 10+ years of experience leading and developing professional finance teams.
• Extensive knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance requirements, internal controls, and strategic financial planning.
• Previous experience presenting financial information and recommendations to executive leadership, boards, committees, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• MBA, CPA, or other advanced financial credential.
• Prior experience within nonprofit, mission-driven, or grant-funded organizations.
• Proven ability to modernize financial systems, improve processes, and lead organizational transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable business insights.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization.

Pay

Expected starting base salary of $210,000 to $250,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
