Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for this temporary, hybrid opportunity supporting a mission-driven nonprofit organization’s CEO and Leadership Team. The assignment is anticipated to continue through the end of September 2026.

About the role

The Executive Support Coordinator will provide high-level administrative support to the CEO and Leadership Team, helping manage executive priorities, communications, meetings, and day-to-day operations. This role will coordinate Board and committee meetings, prepare executive reports and presentations, maintain organizational records, and support development and fundraising activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, collaborative, discreet, and comfortable independently managing competing priorities in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive-level administrative support to the CEO and Leadership Team, including calendar management, communications, scheduling, and priority management.
  • Coordinate Board and committee meetings, including preparing agendas, reports, presentations, meeting materials, records, and follow-up documentation.
  • Draft and edit executive correspondence, reports, presentations, and other confidential communications.
  • Support development and fundraising activities, community stakeholder relationships, and organizational events as needed.
  • Assist with office operations, recordkeeping, and administrative processes to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Independently manage competing priorities, anticipate needs, resolve administrative challenges, and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative or executive support, ideally supporting a CEO, Executive Director, or senior leadership team.
  • Experience coordinating Board or committee meetings and preparing executive communications, reports, presentations, and meeting materials.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized and adaptable professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, discretion, and strong follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively across a mission-driven nonprofit organization.

Pay

$30–$32 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule

Hybrid schedule with approximately 50% onsite and 50% remote work. Assignment anticipated to continue through the end of September 2026, with an ASAP start.
