Job Summary
The Junto is seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to lead the culinary team and ensure exceptional food quality and presentation. This position requires a deep understanding of budgeting, menu development, and team management.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to bring creative and innovative menu options
- Direct daily kitchen activities, ensuring food quality and presentation
- Bring innovative and thoughtful ideas for menu creation, testing, and perfecting recipes consistently
- Manage food inventory, controlling stock and placing orders as needed
- Supervise and mentor team members
Requirements
- Prior experience as an Executive Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine is highly preferred
- Able to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent service standards
- Guest-first mentality; excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
- Prior team leadership required
