Responsibilities
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to program directors or managers of smaller divisions, offices, bureaus, or regional programs.
- Relieve supervisors of administrative detail, including answering correspondence, setting up conferences/workshops, arranging travel, managing budget tasks, and explaining policies and programs.
- Apply program knowledge and related processes, procedures, policies, and goals to support the supervisor’s personal work.
- Distinguished from Administrative Secretary by focusing on a single program rather than multiple programs or higher organizational functions.
- Excludes regular office production work as a primary responsibility.
