About the role

We are seeking an ambitious, consultative Consultant Search professional to identify, place, and manage high-caliber professional contractors across corporate finance, HR, and operations in New Jersey / New York. You will cultivate deep corporate client partnerships, prospect senior-level consulting assignments, and conduct rigorous evaluations to align specialized professional consultants with critical enterprise project demands.

Responsibilities

• Source and place senior-level professional consultants across financial, accounting, and business operations roles.
• Prospect and secure new client partnerships through proactive business development and networking.
• Conduct in-depth consultative candidate interviews, evaluating technical competence and cultural alignment.
• Manage contract negotiations, bill rates, pay rates, and consultant onboarding documentation.
• Maintain continuous engagement with active consulting professionals to foster long-term loyalty.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional search, recruitment consulting, or executive placement experience.
• Strong network within corporate business communities across NJ and NY metropolitan areas.
• Proven sales ability to originate job requisitions and close placement contracts.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, persuasive presentation, and consultation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or related field.

Pay

Command substantial compensation with a competitive base salary and an uncapped, lucrative placement fee commission plan.
