About the role
As the Executive Respiratory Account Manager (ERAM), you will sell capital products related to Respiratory and Thoracic Care within a designated geographical territory in Tennessee (Nashville). You will develop and implement a local business plan aligned with Medical Systems Group (MSG) goals to achieve maximum product sales and profitability. Collaboration with field support personnel and sales colleagues is essential to coordinate activities, serve customers, and drive business focus.
Responsibilities
- Achieve established sales quota by selling capital equipment, service agreements, and related products to new or existing customers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all prospective customers for capital and service products.
- Identify and pursue capital and repair service business at the account level through routine calls to existing and potential customers (accounts include physicians, clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, endoscopy centers, hospitals, bronchoscopy suites, etc.).
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Olympus’s business, the evolving healthcare marketplace, financial service offerings, competition, products, and services, and leverage strategies to drive sales.
- Work with physicians, physician groups, liaisons, department managers, and administrators to support Olympus’s products, systems, and services.
- Assist with field service requests, including procedure support, installations, evaluations, and training.
- Liaise with the Clinical Team to complete evaluations and product demonstrations for prospective customers.
- Provide input to leadership (Regional Vice Presidents, Area Vice Presidents, Marketing) on sales, forecasts, competitive activity, group-contracted business, and other requested information.
- Establish, develop, or maintain field contact with key customers, clinicians, researchers, and decision-makers, including travel to customer facilities and onsite support. Adhere to all customer vendor credentialing requirements when visiting medical facilities.
- Maintain Olympus-owned assets securely, including proper care and maintenance of demo and sample equipment accessories.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Sales experience in healthcare strongly preferred or a combination of Olympus sales, field-based customer support, and/or marketing experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
- Strong closing skills and ability to work well in teams.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office) and strong communication (verbal & written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- High degree of initiative and creativity, with the ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must adhere to all customer and vendor credentialing requirements.
- Approximately 50-80% travel is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of external business-to-business and/or consumer sales experience.
- Specialized knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, or respiratory/thoracic care.
