Executive Protection Specialist - Veterans Preferred
Your Role
Your primary responsibility as a Protector will be to monitor property using the tools and technology of a GDBA Command Center. You will screen visitors and vendors, control all access to the protected site, coordinate and execute security plans, and respond to medical emergencies. Additionally, you will provide physical protection and logistical support at clients' homes and when they travel, and secure their transport as needed.
You will also survey and prepare advance locations before the arrival of the client, create and maintain readiness to meet any threat, and document suspicious activity in detail.
Who You Are
Veterans represent over 60% of GDBA's workforce. Military-experienced candidates are encouraged to apply. Active National Guard or Reservists are accommodated for drill schedules and activations, and active-duty service members can attend the Essential Protector Skills Academy (EPS) while on Terminal Leave.
The most successful Protectors come from diverse backgrounds and possess effective communication skills, physical fitness, willingness to learn, honesty, and a team-oriented mindset. Our promotion system is merit-based, focusing on performance rather than seniority.
Hiring Process
The hiring process includes a 12-day introductory training academy in San Antonio, TX. Candidates must pass a physical readiness test, be able to swim, be drug and nicotine free, undergo a background check, and obtain appropriate state firearm and security licensing.
