Responsibilities
- Security Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive security plans for each event, including risk assessments, security staffing requirements, and emergency response strategies.
- Team Management: Select, train, and supervise security personnel. Ensure all security professionals are fully briefed on their responsibilities and the specifics of each event.
- Coordination with External Agencies: Work closely with local law enforcement, emergency services, and private security firms to ensure a coordinated approach to event security.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all security activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Stay updated with the latest in security technology and procedures to enhance safety measures.
- Incident Management: Serve as the primary contact for all security-related incidents. Lead the resolution with minimal disruption to the event, and ensure Security Leadership maintains awareness.
- Communicates event security information effectively and securely to key stakeholders
- Develops and implements security plans and protocols for events, ensuring the safety of clients and employees and proper screening/vetting procedures for all event guests
- Develops strong partnerships with key business stakeholders, and local and federal law enforcement agencies
- Executes projects and assessments associated with the security of the senior management team
- Manages expenses related to event security costs, in line with objectives and budget
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in security management role
- Excellent Communication Skills (verbal and written) and be able to interact with internal customers/leadership and external partners.
- Proven experience in managing teams and coordinating with private security and law enforcement agencies.
- Proven critical thinking under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated/self-starter.
- Influencer – Must have the ability to interact and work closely with internal and external stakeholders, influencing decisions on appropriate security resources.

- Must be able to respond to matters and issues off regular work hours.

- Valid Driver’s License
