Executive Producer
Roles & Responsibilities
Own end-to-end production oversight for large-scale, high-budget, or high-complexity experiential programs, including live events, brand activations, tours, pop-ups, conferences, and hybrid/digital experiences.
Lead production strategy from concept through execution, translating creative ideas into executable, scalable plans.
Anticipate and manage production risks, dependencies, and operational challenges across multiple programs.
Serve as the senior production lead for one or more flagship clients or complex accounts with multiple active workstreams, ensuring alignment across programs, timelines, budgets, and vendors.
Oversee multiple projects running in parallel under a single client relationship, maintaining a unified production approach and delivery standard.
Act as the long-term production steward for assigned accounts, maintaining continuity, institutional knowledge, and trusted client relationships.
Partner closely with Account Leadership to manage scope, resourcing, forecasting, and prioritization across all client workstreams.
Identify opportunities to streamline production, leverage shared vendors, and improve efficiency and scalability across the client portfolio.
Support account growth through proactive production thinking, contributing to renewals, expansions, and stated work.
Own and manage multimillion-dollar production budgets across individual programs and at the account level.
Develop and approve estimates, production schedules, vendor contracts, SOWs, and reconciliations.
Partner with Finance and Account teams to ensure projects and accounts meet agency profitability targets.
Drive financial discipline, accurate forecasting, and margin performance across all assigned work.
Directly manage and mentor Senior Producers and Producers assigned to flagship or multi-workstream accounts.
Provide guidance on production planning, budgeting, execution, and client communication.
Support performance management, feedback, and professional development in partnership with the Production Director.
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and inclusive culture within a distributed, remote-first team.
Act as a senior, client-facing production leader, building trust through expertise, clarity, and confident decision-making.
Partner with Creative, Strategy, Account, and Operations teams to align scope, expectations, and delivery.
Clearly communicate production trade-offs, risks, and recommendations to internal and client stakeholders.
Identify and vet new vendors, technologies, and experiential formats to improve quality, efficiency, and innovation.
Requirements
10-15+ years of experiential/event production experience, with 3-5+ years in a senior leadership role.
Proven experience managing large-scale experiential programs with $500K-$5M+ production budgets.
Demonstrated success owning production across multi-project, multi-workstream client accounts.
Deep knowledge of live event production, fabrication, logistics, AV, staffing, permitting, and safety plans.
Strong financial acumen with experience owning estimates, SOWs, contracts, and reconciliations.
Experience leading and mentoring production teams in a fast-paced agency environment.
Comfortable working remotely with distributed teams and willing to travel as required.
The salary range for this role is $140,000.00 to $175,000.00. Where a candidate falls within this band will depend on a combination of factors, including relevant experience, demonstrated performance, specific skills, geographical location, and internal equity.
