Responsibilities
- Generate and convert new business: Research, prospect, and qualify leads through proactive outreach and database mining to drive group sales and exceed lead generation goals
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned market segments, nurturing existing accounts and developing new ones to grow room revenue and overall profitability
- Analyze hotel and market trends to create and execute business plans and marketing initiatives that capture demand and meet sales goals
- Prepare proposals, conduct site visits, negotiate terms, and secure contracts tailored to client needs while maximizing revenue
- Cook up and manage the end-to-end sales process, ensuring accurate and timely entry of account and reservation information in the hotel’s sales management system
- Lead the team by inspiring and developing team members, monitoring performance, providing coaching, and fostering a positive and productive work environment
