Executive in Residence – Financial Services
Plan A Technologies is seeking an Executive in Residence (EiR) for our Financial Services practice. This is a high-impact, six-month residency designed for an experienced SVP, EVP, Managing Director, or C-suite leader who has spent their career at the intersection of finance and technology. This role requires a 10-20 hour per week commitment.
Responsibilities
- Act as a senior advisor to help clients solve critical technology challenges, from legacy modernization and core banking transitions to AI adoption and complex regulatory compliance.
- Leverage your deep industry network to identify and set up new strategic partnerships and alliances for Plan A. (This is a critical component of the role.)
- Advise the Plan A leadership team on market trends in the financial sector to help shape our service offerings.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of deep expertise within the financial services sector.
- Must have served in a very senior role at a major financial services company, bank, or similar organization.
- A broad, active network of close relationships across banks, payment companies, FinTech firms, insurers, hedge funds, wealth management firms, and PE groups.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, AI transformations, and the specific tech stacks driving modern FinTech.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for both thought leadership content and high-level discussions.

Pay
