About the role

The Executive IC, Engineering role at Motion is for someone who has led engineering teams before and wants to return to the frontlines. This role involves owning a meaningful surface of Motion's product end-to-end and setting the quality bar by shipping it yourself. You will use AI tooling to operate with the leverage of a whole team and help shape how AI is used across the engineering organization.

What You'd Bring

• A long track record of building and shipping software, including leading engineering organizations as a Founder, C-suite leader, VP, or Director, while remaining deeply hands-on.
• A development workflow already built around AI coding agents, where tools like Claude Code and Cursor are second nature.
• The judgment to make big technical calls and the ability to implement them yourself.
