Executive Fellowship
About the Role
Select Medical’s Executive Fellowship (EFA) program offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in long-term acute care hospital operations. The program includes focused training in clinical services, case management, medical staff relations, financial management, marketing, regulatory compliance, and human resource management. It spans four main areas: orientation, enculturation, administrative onboarding, and support over a one-year period. Designated training sites with dedicated mentors provide support, education, and onboarding throughout the program.
Responsibilities
The goal of the Executive Fellowship Program is to drive diverse experience in healthcare operations, creating well-rounded healthcare executives grounded in Select Medical’s four key results. Fellows will gain a sufficient understanding of their new role, its organizational context, goals, objectives, and key relationships to reach a point of effectiveness and become healthcare leaders within the hospital division.
Qualifications
- MHA or equivalent Master’s degree
- Ability to relocate for a leadership position upon successful completion of the training
- Some healthcare management experience in acute care or specialty hospital operations is beneficial

Pay
$35 - $37 per hour
