Our Tech/SaaS client is seeking a Experience Consultant/ Event Manager to join their team for the next 12 months, 40 hours/week. This role is fully onsite 5 days per week in New York City (domestic travel 1-2 times per year may be required).Role SummaryWe are seeking an Executive Experience Consultant to design, orchestrate, and deliver high-impact executive engagements for senior technology and business leaders. This role combines event execution, strategic planning, executive facilitation, and customer engagement to create memorable experiences that align with customer transformation goals. The ideal candidate brings a strong SaaS or technology background, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment where operational excellence and executive presence are equally important. This role is heavily focused on onsite event delivery and executive engagement, with approximately 80% execution and 20% consulting and strategy.Top Must Have Skills 8+ years of experience designing, managing, and delivering executive briefings, executive engagement programs, strategic events, or similar high-impact customer experiences. Experience working within a SaaS, enterprise technology, or consulting environment, with familiarity across digital transformation and AI-related topics. Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders, including sales leaders, executives, customers, and cross-functional teams. Exceptional communication, facilitation, presentation, and storytelling skills with strong executive presence. Strong program and project management skills, including agenda development, event logistics, stakeholder coordination, and risk management. Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, and execute flawlessly in high-stakes environments. Experience leading customer-facing engagements and building trusted relationships with executive-level audiences. Additional Qualifications Experience supporting Executive Briefing Center (EBC) programs, executive engagement programs, customer events, or innovation center experiences. Background in consulting, technology marketing, chief of staff, strategic project management, event management, or technology specialist roles. Knowledge of enterprise software, cloud technologies, and the evolving AI landscape. Experience presenting demonstrations, managing showcases, or supporting executive-level technology presentations. Strong customer service mindset with a hospitality-focused approach to executive experiences. Ability to synthesize industry trends and customer challenges into relevant engagement narratives. Experience using event management platforms, executive briefing tools, CRM systems, dashboards, or collaboration technologies. Familiarity with BriefingSource, analytics dashboards, or AI tools is a plus. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of executive briefings, customer engagements, and strategic onsite experiences. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned engagements, ensuring a seamless experience from planning through post-event follow-up. Partner with sales teams, executives, subject matter experts, and customer stakeholders to develop customized agendas aligned to business objectives. Coordinate event logistics including room setup, catering, scheduling, technology readiness, attendee communications, and onsite operations. Facilitate planning sessions and ensure all presenters are prepared with clear objectives, messaging, and outcomes. Create engaging customer narratives and executive-level experiences that showcase business transformation opportunities. Develop deep knowledge of assigned industries and incorporate relevant trends, challenges, and opportunities into executive engagements. Build trusted relationships across sales, product, marketing, customer success, and executive leadership teams. Support executive briefing and engagement programs, including innovation center experiences, showcases, demonstrations, and advisory board events. Monitor engagement success metrics, gather stakeholder feedback, and recommend continuous improvements to program effectiveness. Anticipate risks, resolve operational challenges proactively, and maintain exceptional attention to detail throughout the planning and execution process. Contribute ideas and insights that help evolve future executive engagement strategies, storytelling approaches, and customer experience programs. Represent the organization professionally during high-visibility customer meetings, events, and executive interactions. Support both tactical event delivery and the long-term evolution of executive engagement programs as business needs grow and mature.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
