About the Role
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Raleigh County Housing Authority operations, including budget management, program implementation, and community engagement.Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local housing regulations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive housing programs to meet the needs of the community.
- Manage the annual budget and allocate resources effectively.
- Engage with residents, stakeholders, and partners to gather feedback and improve services.
- Ensure the authority's compliance with fair housing laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in housing administration or related field.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with community development and outreach.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of housing policies and practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
