Executive Director - Medicare Strategy, Finance & Value Creation

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $131,500 – $303,195 annually.

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Executive Director - Medicare Strategy, Finance & Value Creation to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will help shape strategic financial decisions for a large-scale healthcare organization, with a particular focus on Medicare-related growth and value creation. The position will partner closely with senior leaders to evaluate opportunities, develop investment frameworks, and translate complex analysis into clear recommendations. Success in this role will require balancing performance, risk, and long-term business outcomes while helping guide enterprise priorities.

Responsibilities

• Advise executives on strategic, financial, and operational decisions
• Analyze growth and investment opportunities, partnerships, and business transformations
• Create decision-ready recommendations that balance performance, strategy, and risk
• Translate complex data into clear executive communications
• Assess and prioritize opportunities to enhance business performance
• Establish frameworks for business case development and investment evaluation
• Partner with leaders to define business outcomes and monitor performance

Qualifications

• 10+ years in strategic finance, corporate strategy, consulting, or related healthcare fields
• Experience in healthcare, health insurance, or Medicare
• Proven ability to influence executive decisions through data and strategic insight
• Strong skills in financial modeling, scenario planning, and problem-solving
• Experience leading complex projects with senior-level stakeholders
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities
• Track record of building and leading high-performing teams
