About the role
JourneyCare Hospice is seeking an Executive Director to lead its expanding hospice team. The ideal candidate will be part of a supportive environment that balances professional growth with personal time.
Responsibilities
- Maintains positive internal and external customer service relationships
- Manages the agency’s program through delegation of responsibility to administrative and supervisory personnel
- Monitors methods of program administration, planning, supervising, and evaluating
- Ensures compliance with regulatory and reimbursement requirements
- Develops and implements administrative policies and procedures
- Determines staffing needs and patterns based on program requirements and personnel availability
- Authorizes appointments to staff positions in collaboration with the VP of Operations
- Negotiates and executes contracts with community providers and monitors program compliance
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program (preferred)
- Minimum Associate degree in business, healthcare, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years related experience
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or administrative experience in a hospice or home health setting
- Experience in program administration including knowledge of healthcare policies and reimbursement practices
Qualifications
- Reliable transportation, current driver’s license, and appropriate auto insurance

Pay
$105,000 - $145,000 Annually - Offer Based on Years of Experience
Schedule
Monday-Friday / 40 Hours per Week - Admin On-Call Rotation
