Executive Director, Head of Clinical Operations Excellence

About the role

This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Clinical Development & GCO strategies as a member of the leadership team
• Lead the implementation of GCP compliance management processes within GCO
• Develop and lead a team aiming for continuous infrastructure and system improvements
• Monitor regulatory adherence and clinical performance indicators for compliance
• Implement training programs and ensure compliance with corporate goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degrees preferred in a scientific or healthcare discipline
• 15+ years of experience in biotech/pharma/CRO in Clinical Operations, Compliance, Monitoring, Trial Management, or Quality Assurance
• Proficient in building GCP quality systems and processes such as SOPs and CAPA programs
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on cross-functional alignment
• Risk management skills and mindset; knowledge of Project Management practices

Pay

$271,800 – $351,800 annually
