Executive Director (Full-Time) - Northstar Square

About the role

Northstar Square is seeking an influential Executive Director who can lead and motivate all members of the organization. The Executive Director will oversee all operations and be responsible for the financials of the community, fostering a growth-oriented workplace for team members and a positive environment for residents. Northstar Square has partnered with Tapcheck, a groundbreaking mobile app that allows team members to access their earned wages instantly, empowering them with greater financial control.

Responsibilities

• Ensure positive engagement of residents, family, friends, and team members by maintaining a positive, open-door atmosphere
• Demonstrate effective communication, lead by example, and ensure outstanding attention to detail in resident care and well-being
• Set standards for quality assurance and foster positive family relationships
• Oversee all aspects of operations, including care delivery, food service, and facilities management, to meet or exceed high operational standards
• Direct responsibility for hiring, training, and supervising a top-notch team
• Direct responsibility for the financial management and regulatory compliance of the communities
• Oversee the Sales and Marketing process to meet or exceed occupancy and revenue targets

Requirements

• Passion for working with Seniors
• Licensed Administrator in the respective state
• Prior Executive Director or Administrator experience preferred
• Previous management experience with direct supervision of a team of at least 10, including hiring, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision, and disciplinary measures
• Demonstrated success in managing operating expenses of at least $1M annually
• Previous sales or business development experience preferred—identifying and building local relationships to drive business, as well as effective product pricing and revenue maximization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to facilitate small-group presentations
• Proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities
• Computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to learn new applications
