Executive Director – Crossville, TN
The Crossville Housing Authority (CHA) is a medium-sized, nationally recognized organization responsible for managing 330 public housing units, 459 Section 8 slots, and 418 non-locally owned units including HUD Multi Family, RD 515, LIHTC, and other properties. CHA also operates a single-family “sweat equity” ownership program. The CHA is seeking an experienced Executive Director to succeed its current long-term leader, who is retiring after 25 years of service. During the transition period, the current Director will continue to serve.
Requirements
- Demonstrated progressive executive or CEO leadership or business achievements
- Experience in housing management and development
- Strong organizational and strategic planning skills
- Ability to lead a diverse board of commissioners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., urban planning, public administration)
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
- Proven track record of successful leadership and management
- Experience with federal housing programs and regulations
