Executive Director, Business Operations and Insights
About the role
Wells Fargo is seeking an Executive Director, Business Operations Insights Leader to establish and lead a high-impact business intelligence function dedicated to transforming data into actionable insights and converting expenses into sustainable operating leverage. This role owns the change agenda and serves as the primary interface with business leadership, Risk, HR, Technology, and Finance. The Executive Director is responsible for establishing the operating framework, governance model, and management routines that improve productivity, cost discipline, organizational effectiveness, and operational resilience.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team responsible for operating insights and performance management.
- Develop and execute the organization's business intelligence and workforce economics strategy.
- Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for productivity improvement and cost optimization.
- Establish management reporting standards, KPI frameworks, and governance routines.
- Sponsor incident review and after-action reporting processes to improve organizational effectiveness.
- Present insights, recommendations, and performance trends to executive leadership.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management or leadership experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience leading transformation initiatives.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex analytical findings into business actions.
- Experience managing large-scale cross-functional teams and priorities.
Schedule
- Ability to travel as needed
- Willingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirements
- Ability to work additional hours as needed
Pay
Salary Range $185,000-$300,000. Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
