About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Executive Director - Business Information Security Officer (BISO) to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This senior cybersecurity leadership role will serve as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders, helping ensure security is embedded into strategic initiatives and critical enterprise projects. The position will also drive risk management priorities, translate security performance into clear business metrics, and support cross-functional decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a cybersecurity advisor to business unit leadership, ensuring security is integrated into strategic initiatives
• Define and report KPIs and metrics aligned with business initiatives for non-technical audiences
• Drive risk management strategy by setting security objectives and leading execution
• Support critical projects to ensure alignment with strategic goals and timely execution
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders through presentations and reports
• Analyze data to support decision-making, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement
• Act as a problem-solving resource for complex organizational issues

Qualifications

• 15+ years in senior leadership roles focused on strategy and stakeholder management
• 10+ years in GRC or technical security at an enterprise scale
• 5+ years as a BISO or Head BISO
• 5+ years working with multiple security control frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and HIPAA
• 5+ years in Program and Project Management with cross-functional initiatives

Pay

$175,100 – $334,750 annually
